The Blountstown Tigers lost against the Sneads Pirates back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Blountstown fell 56-44 to Sneads. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Blountstown in their matchups with Sneads: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Blountstown still got an impressive performance from Aidan Richards, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Richards continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Bryant Washington was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Nykavian Bradley was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for Sneads. Bradley hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kurdiss Baker, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Blountstown has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Sneads, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Blountstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Bozeman at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bozeman is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Sneads, Sneads and Liberty County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Liberty County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 577th, while Sneads is ranked 225th).
