Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Camelback). They blew past the Maryvale Panthers 47-23 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Spartans have posted since January 30, 2024.

Camelback found their leader in freshman Lilly Buckner, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Tameika Brady was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals.

Camelback's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Maryvale, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-17.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing South Mountain the next time they take the court. Camelback will host South Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Maryvale will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
