Fort Campbell's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laticiyia Cabrera, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rosella Rajj, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Fort Campbell bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.8 points per game. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Campbell won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lyon County at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Lyon County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fort Campbell in Kentucky (Lyon County is ranked 41st, while Fort Campbell is ranked 179th). As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Christian Fellowship at 5:30 p.m.
