After flying high against Paden City  last Saturday, Meadow Bridge came back down to earth. The Meadow Bridge Wildcats were  outmatched by the Montcalm Generals and fell  52-25. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in January of 2024.
 Despite the loss, Meadow Bridge still got an impressive performance from   Kierston Rozell, who  went 6 for 15  on her way to 17  points and four  blocks. That was a full 68% of Meadow Bridge's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's   posted  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Kyndal Gilkerson, who  earned six points.
Meadow Bridge's defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Montcalm,  the  win snapped their losing streak at 15 games  dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against River View  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
