Section 4 B Division IV recap Oct. 9, 2012
Maine-Endwell extended the longest winning streak in Section 4 B Division IV this week by beating Norwich, 49-7. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Spartans.
Owego Free Academy moved up to 293 from 337 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to make the jump by beating Oneonta 28-6.
Owego Free Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandon Morris has thrown for 320 yards and one touchdown this season, while Zach House has seven catches for 152 yards. House leads the league in rushing with 266 yards.
A big matchup in Section 4 B Division IV this week will be when Susquehanna Valley takes on Maine-Endwell. The Sabers are currently in fourth, while Matt Gallagher's team is in first.
Susquehanna Valley and Charles O. Dickerson played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Susquehanna Valley eventually emerging with a 28-26 victory.
