Despite the loss, Hoover still got an impressive performance from Ethan Davis, who threw for 159 yards and a touchdown.
Seth Forrester was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Ololade Adeduro, who rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Viewpoint, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover is on the road again on Thursday and play against Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on October 26th. Glendale is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Viewpoint, they will head out on the road to face off against Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood School is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
