Cuyahoga Heights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Fairview, posting a 55-21 victory at home. While fans of Cuyahoga Heights might be used to big wins, the 34-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Meanwhile, everything went Independence's way against the Bison on Tuesday as the Blue Devils made off with a 41-21 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Independence.
Cuyahoga Heights pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Independence, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.
Cuyahoga Heights was able to grind out a solid win over the Blue Devils when the teams last played back in January, winning 39-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cuyahoga Heights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
