Sheridan had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Crossett on Monday. The Sheridan Yellowjackets never let the Crossett Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Yellowjackets have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Crossett, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Sheridan will take on El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheridan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Crossett, they will venture away from home to challenge Star City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
