The Timber Creek Falcons will head out on the road to  challenge  the Keller Central Chargers  at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday. Timber Creek will be strutting in after a  victory while Keller Central will be coming in after a  loss.
Last Tuesday, Timber Creek was able to grind out a solid  win over Bell, taking the game  39-28. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Falcons.

 Timber Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jillian Topping led the charge by  going 5 for 10  on her way to 15  points. Topping has been hot recently, having also posted two or more  steals the last three times she's  played.  Selah Armstrachan was another key player,  putting up eight points and three  steals.
Meanwhile, Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They fell  50-42 to Trinity.
Despite the  loss, Keller Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Skylaah Benbow  dropped  a triple-double on 16  points, 12  boards,  and 11  steals. That was a full 38.1% of Keller Central's points, marking the third time in a row she's   posted  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amanda Mcnary, who  had eight points and nine  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Keller Central  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 23  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
 Keller Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Timber Creek, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Timber Creek has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 29.6  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Keller Central struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 27  boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Everything went Timber Creek's way against Keller Central when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, as Timber Creek made off with  a  56-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Timber Creek since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
