North Yosemite recap November 19, 2013
Roosevelt moved up to 654 from 685 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Yosemite. The Rough Riders climbed the ranks as a result of beating Fowler 37-30.
Sunnyside lost to San Joaquin Memorial 49-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Roosevelt's Tristian Hernandez and Kurtis McCoy led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hernandez has thrown for 3,162 yards this season, while McCoy has 74 catches for 1,340 yards. Ronald Davis from McLane leads the league in rushing with 995 yards.
So far this year, Brandon Moua has thrown for 1,920 yards with 17 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
He has recorded 73 catches for 922 yards this year.
In 161 carries Davis has put up 995 yards this year.
Casey Quinn's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,188 from 9,628. The advance stemmed from a 37-30 victory over the Redcats last week.
