If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Kennett. They will take on Malden at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Kennett will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Kennett put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Dexter 44-0. The victory was familiar territory for Kennett, who now have five in a row.
Meanwhile, Malden received a tough blow as they fell 38-58 to Charleston. This makes it the second loss in a row for Malden.
Kennett's win lifted them to 6-1 while Malden's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
