On Saturday, Chaparral kept a clean sheet against Carter-Riverside. They won by a goal and slipped past Carter-Riverside 1-0.
Meanwhile, Shoemaker's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Harker Heights by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that Shoemaker has lost by exactly a single goal.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 2-4-3. As for Shoemaker, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
