The Klein Cain Hurricanes will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Klein Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Klein Cain has not done well against Klein recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Klein Cain walked away with a 54-41 victory over Klein. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Klein Cain has scored all season.
John Clark was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Nick Delgado was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Tomball Memorial scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Klein Forest still came out on top. Klein Forest enjoyed a cozy 75-58 victory over Tomball Memorial. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Klein Forest.
Klein Cain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Klein Forest, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Klein Cain was able to grind out a solid win over Klein Forest in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 67-57. Will Klein Cain repeat their success, or does Klein Forest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
