Kamehameha Hawai'i got themselves on the board against Hawaii Prep on Friday, but Hawaii Prep never followed suit. Kamehameha Hawai'i strolled past the Ka makani with points to spare, taking the matchup 16-0. That result was just more of the same for Kamehameha Hawai'i, who also won the last time these teams played (Oct. 25).
The win was the fourth in a row for Kamehameha Hawai'i and raised their record to 11-3. Hawaii Prep's loss makes it three in a row and drags their record down to 6-4.
Kamehameha Hawai'i will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Roosevelt at 7 p.m. ET in two weeks. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game. As for the Ka makani, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
