NORCROSS, Ga. -
Norcross (Ga.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Myles Autry ran for a touchdown with 6:00 to go, bringing the team to victory over
Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) 14-9.
After nabbing the lead on a field goal by
Jose Vega, the Packers went into halftime with a 9-7 lead. The Blue Devils scored the winning points with a touchdown run by Autry that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring zero points in the third, Norcross still trailed by two points going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped NHS pull out the victory.
Led by
Lorenzo Carter, the Blue Devils came into the game allowing 13.3 points per game.
The loss comes after Colquitt County defeated Dacula 42-17 last week. The loss ended Colquitt County's three-game winning streak.
