Sutton came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 76-37 win over the Nebraska Christian Eagles. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-15.

Leading Sutton to victory were Aidan Jones and Jacob Huxoll. Jones posted 18 points, while Huxoll had 15 points. Huxoll is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Harrison Herndon was another key player, putting up nine points.

Sutton pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Nebraska Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sutton and Mead will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Mead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Nebraska Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cozad at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Cozad will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Nebraska Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
