Monroe Central is 7-1 against Beallsville since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Seminoles will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Beallsville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Monroe Central, who comes in off a win.
Monroe Central is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since April 8th on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past River 3-2.
Karlie Haslam spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Jadyn Miller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brylee McFredrick, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Monroe Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River only posted a batting average of .130.
Meanwhile, Beallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Bridgeport, falling 18-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered against the Bulldogs since April 20, 2019.
Beallsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby McCulley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Monroe Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Beallsville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Beallsville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Monroe Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Beallsville, though, as they've only averaged .246. Will they be able to contain Monroe Central's hitters?
