The Glenrock Herders were the 54-49 winner over the Hot Springs County Bobcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Glenrock took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hot Springs County on Friday. Glenrock's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Hot Springs County found their leader in underclassman Kamryn Farrell, who scored 15 points along with eight steals. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jayssie Owsley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Glenrock bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hot Springs County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Buffalo the next time they take the court. Hot Springs County will host Buffalo at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Glenrock will host them at 3:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
