The West Shore Wildcats lost against the Edgewood Red Wolves last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Shore suffered a rough 50-24 defeat at the hands of Edgewood. West Shore has struggled against Edgewood recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Edgewood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Germain, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Preble, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
West Shore's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Edgewood, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Shore's road trip will continue as they head out to face Melbourne Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. Melbourne Central Catholic will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Edgewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Viera at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
