Sydney Wittman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
