J.F. Webb won the last time they faced Durham School of the Arts, and Mctaja Edmondson did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the J.F. Webb Warriors' way against the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs on Thursday as the J.F. Webb Warriors made off with a 66-43 win thanks to Edmondson, who posted 17 points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Jasey Lee was another key player, putting up six points in addition to eight assists and five steals. J.F. Webb is 3-1 when Lee posts five or more steals, but 6-9-1 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Durham School of the Arts saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Faith Yon went 9-for-20 en route to 27 points and four steals. That was a full 62.8% of Durham School of the Arts' points, marking the fourth time in a row Yon has put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylen Mumford, who earned 13 points.

J.F. Webb's victory bumped their record up to 9-10-1. As for Durham School of the Arts, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

J.F. Webb has already played their next match, a 48-41 loss against Vance County on the 14th. As for Durham School of the Arts, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-16 defeat against Carrboro on the 14th.
