The Lansing Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 68-51 bruising from West. Lansing has struggled against the Chargers recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jalen Foy, who scored 31 points along with six steals and five rebounds for West. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keimani Paul, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Lansing dropped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for West, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
Coincidentally, Lansing and the Chargers will both be playing the Pirates the next time they take the court. West will head out to face Piper at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Lansing will head out to face them on Friday.
