After flying high against Cleveland two weeks ago, Ballard came back down to earth. The Ballard Beavers fell 70-63 to the Lakeside Lions on Friday. The Beavers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ballard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lakeside, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballard won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodinville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Woodinville has won three straight at home, while Ballard won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Lakeside, they will challenge Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
