The Villa Walsh Academy Vikings have enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Morristown-Beard Crimson on Thursday. Villa Walsh Academy won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
The Vikings came up short against West Morris Mendham on Tuesday, falling 39-32. The loss was a vexing one since Villa Walsh Academy was expected to win based on their ranking.
Meanwhile, Morristown-Beard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 36-31 to Academy of St. Elizabeth.
Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
