They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  9-7  win over the Cairo-Durham Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Cats: when they faced off against the Mustangs  back in April, they had to take a  21-14  loss.

Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Cairo-Durham, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Coincidentally, Catskill and Cairo-Durham will both be playing Germantown the next time they take the field. The Cats will head out to face the Clippers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
