 Sylmar found their leader in sophomore  Andrew Galvez, who  dropped  a double-double with 22  points and ten  steals. Those ten  steals set a new season-high mark for  Galvez.  Cymon Millhouse was another key player,  putting up 18 points and three  steals.
Sylmar's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-18. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  assists: they averaged an imposing 14  assists in those games compared to only 4.79 in the others. As for Locke, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
 Coming up, Sylmar will face off against South Gate at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Sylmar knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully South Gate likes a good challenge. Locke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
