Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were the victim of a rough 8-0 loss at the hands of the Titans on Tuesday. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for one goal.
Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for True North Classical Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2-2.
Archbishop Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for True North Classical Academy, they will take on Westminster Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. True North Classical Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Westminster Academy likes a good challenge.
