Nash Ott Delivers Best Performance of Season
Yuma Catholic was led to victory by Nash Ott, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ott threw for 418 yards and six touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
St. Mary had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ott it was a similar story. Ott threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns while completing 82.8% of his passes the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in September of 2023.

Yuma Catholic was led to victory by Sir Stokes, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Stokes picked up 269 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.4).
On the season, Stokes has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 108.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Nathan Johannes Leads Northwest Christian over Buckeye
Nathan Johannes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northwest Christian to the win on Friday. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 94 yards.
The win (which was Northwest Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. They and Lake Havasu are set to duel on Friday.

Elijah Little was instrumental in extending Thunderbird's winning streak to six on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Little must have Lake Havasu's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Little rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in September of 2023.
