Brock Roberts and Damien Terrell provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Dexter. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in 1A Region 4 this season.
Stringer's Tevin Moore recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Cathedral last week. Moore ran for 76 yards on the play and finished with 384 on the day as his team fell to the Green Wave.
Thomas Garrity threw for 455 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was 33-61 with 2 interceptions.
Matt Gay made the biggest impact on defense this week as Lumberton bested Sacred Heart. He forced 2 fumbles and racked up 4.5 sacks.
Moore was a beast in the backfield as Stringer fell to Cathedral.
Moore was the best running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 384 yards as Marlon Brannan's team topped Marlon Brannan's team. Teammate Lorenzo Crosby added to the ground attack by rushing for 169 yards.
The Green Wave's Garrity and Jardarius Anderson have formed a dream team this season, leading 1A Region 4 in both passing and receiving yards. Garrity has thrown for 2,257 yards this season, while Anderson has 55 catches for 990 yards. Moore from the Red Devils leads the league in rushing with 1,027 yards.
Cathedral's Anderson is only 10 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the the Panthers. He has recorded 55 catches for 990 yards this year.
At the moment, the Green Wave are in second, while Lumberton is in fourth.
Hinds County Agricultural moved up to 150 from 182 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Salem 33-7.
