Pinon will take on Rock Point at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Pinon, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Red Mesa last Friday, falling 0-60. The state rankings had actually given Pinon a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Rock Point faltered in their match last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-59 to Alchesay. Rock Point were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
