Marist can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Valley Catholic Valiants 13-6. The Spartans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th.
Bridget Stephenson and Finley Schweigert did most of the damage at the plate: Stephenson went 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base, while Schweigert went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those triples marked the first that Stephenson hit this season. Sydney Hoffstot was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
