The Conifer Lobos will face off against the Summit Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Conifer was handed an 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Central 5-4.
Brandon Roe and Luke Adams made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Roe tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Meanwhile, Adams pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At the plate, Roe went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Adams went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Summit had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. The team relied heavily on Jonathan Gambino, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Summit is undefeated when Gambino posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Conifer couldn't quite finish off Summit when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 10-8. Can the Lobos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
