The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Holmes, who took down 40th ranked West Holmes, 40-29.
Mansfield Senior extended the longest winning streak in Ohio Cardinal this week by beating the Knights, 40-29. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Ashland's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyson Vogel threw for 191 and one touchdown and Nick Barker had 119 yards receiving. On the ground Vogel chipped in 54 yards. Kozmo Krueger helped Ashland's passing attack out by catching five balls for 50 yards.
Ashland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Arrows feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vogel has thrown for 2169 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Barker has 57 catches for 1054 yards. Vogel also leads the league in rushing with 340 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lexington takes on West Holmes. At the moment, the Minutemen are in fourth, while the Knights are in first.
Madison Comprehensive took down Clear Fork 41-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
