Imhotep Charter extended the longest winning streak in Philadelphia Public - AA/A this week by beating Springfield Township, 53-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Panthers.
Imhotep Charter took down the Spartans 53-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nasir Bonner ran for 158 yards in the win.
Al Crosby's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Andre Dreuitt threw for 98 and 1 touchdown and Nasir Lewis had 38 yards receiving. On the ground Bonner chipped in 158 yards. Denniston 'DJ' Moore helped Imhotep Charter's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.
Bonner provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Panthers topped Springfield Township. Bonner's key target this week was Lewis, who caught 2 passes for 38 yards.
Lewis was the best receiver in the league this week as Imhotep Charter beat Chris Shelly's team. Moore helped Imhotep Charter's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Dreuitt and Bonner, the Panthers have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Dreuitt is tops in the league in passing with 1,261 yards, while Bonner has rushed for 806 yards this season. Prep Charter's Curan Simmons leads the league in receiving yards with 698 on 35 catches.
