Softball Recap: Dubois Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for DuBois, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Clearfield Bison 12-2 on Thursday. Considering the Beavers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Haley Reed was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Theresa McBride, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

DuBois has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Clearfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

DuBois wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against St. Marys on the 25th. As for Clearfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Bald Eagle Area on the 28th.
