After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Oxford, Waterbury Career Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They blew past the Crosby Bulldogs 19-13. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
  Trinety Sanchez was  incredible,  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple.  Payton Antonios was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-5.
 Waterbury Career Academy  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2. As for Crosby, they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Waterbury Career Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  13-0  loss vs. Wolcott on the 8th. Crosby has also already played their next game,  a  13-0  defeat against Naugatuck on the 6th.
