Milton posted their closest win since September 4, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Paulding County Patriots 5-4.

The team relied heavily on Reese Rountree, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bre Tyldesley, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Milton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Milton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Paulding County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
