Caleb Brickhouse's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Platt RVT over Bullard-Havens
Starting off the list is Platt RVT's Caleb Brickhouse, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brickhouse rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those 160 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
This is the second loss in a row for Platt RVT and nudges their season record down to 1-3. Brickhouse and Platt RVT will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] at 6:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Logan Stone Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Logan Stone posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.
Having lost for the first time this season, Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT fell to 2-1. Stone and Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT are on the road again on Friday to play Bullard-Havens at 6:00 p.m.

ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] Gets a Boost from Hill in 44-0 Win
Jayvionne Hill was a major factor in ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate]'s win over Prince RVT on Saturday. Hill was dynamite, rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 32 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.
Hill is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against O'Brien RVT on Saturday. Hill rushed for 96 yards on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and O'Brien RVT duked it out back in September of 2023.

Alex Lowery Delivers Electric Effort Vs Cheney RVT
Another Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT player making an appearance on this list is Alex Lowery. He picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards.
For the year, Lowery has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 36.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 17 rushing yards.

Dazhaun Copeland and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Cheney RVT picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dazhaun Copeland. Copeland turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 57 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 54 receiving yards.
Cheney RVT pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Copeland and Cheney RVT will square off against Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
