While McDowell's win against Harbor Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans never let the Huskies get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Trojans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The win was the third in a row for McDowell, bringing their record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harbor Creek, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McDowell is set to face off against their familiar foe Warren at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harbor Creek will challenge rival Erie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
