Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Park). They rang in the new year with an 80-68 win over the Foothill Mustangs on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Foothill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tomari Harris, who posted 20 points and three steals. The game was Harris' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kelton Johnson, who had 14 points.

West Park pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Foothill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

West Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-41 victory against Cordova on the 6th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-25 win against El Camino on the 4th.
