Volleyball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Loss

Racine Case was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Howards Grove Tigers.

Defeat or not, Racine Case got some senior leadership from Elise Webster and Madisyn Stacy. Webster had 15 digs and one assist, while Stacy had four aces and three digs. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Stacy.

Howards Grove was led to victory by Brienna Bramstedt and Avery Sasche. Bramstedt had 13 digs and three aces, while Sasche had 16 assists and 11 digs. That's the most aces Bramstedt has posted over her last three contests.

Racine Case's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Howards Grove, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Racine Case wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Greendale on the 30th. As for Howards Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against West Bend East on the 30th.
