The Chillicothe Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against Kauffman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chillicothe will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Even though Chillicothe has not done well against the Cardinals recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Chillicothe came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 49-39.
Chillicothe's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liz Oliver, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kayanna Cranmer, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Kauffman had to settle for a 56-53 loss against the Bluejays last Monday.
Chillicothe's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Kauffman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
