If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Shepherd Hill Regional. On Friday they take on Fitchburg at 7:00 PM. Shepherd Hill Regional will be hoping to build upon the 34-7 win they picked up against Fitchburg the last time they played.
Shepherd Hill Regional couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-34 walloping at Shrewsbury's hands. Shepherd Hill Regional got a solid performance out of junior Kobe Jean-guillaume, who rushed for 76 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Fitchburg had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a hard 18-36 fall against St. Bernard's Central Catholic.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
