The Riverside Rams can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They slipped by Gloucester City 56-55. The win was just what Riverside needed coming off of a 56-36 loss in their prior game.
Gloucester City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcus Flagg, who scored 12 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Flagg has scored all season. Keegan Cohan was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds.
Riverside's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11. As for Gloucester City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Riverside will be playing at home against the Flashes at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gloucester City, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
