Henry Clay entered their tilt with Lafayette on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Henry Clay's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Lafayette, they dropped their record down to 11-20 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Henry Clay and Lafayette will both be playing Mercer County the next time they take the field. The Generals will host the Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
