Clemente had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  22-1 margin over the South Shore International Tars. Considering the Wildcats have won five matches by more than 12  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jamaris Nguyen was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out nine batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Sabrina Negron and  Talina Figueroa did most of the damage at the plate:  Negron  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Figueroa  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Emilie Tijerina, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Clemente  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .818. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Clemente's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-1-1. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Shore International,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
