Meanwhile, San Diego Jewish Academy didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Del Lago Academy on Thursday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 2-1 defeat on Thursday. Sadly, the result was nothing new as San Diego Jewish Academy, who hasn't won a game since December 12, 2023.
Calvin Christian's draw makes their record 1-10-3 on the season. As for San Diego Jewish Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season.
Calvin Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego Jewish Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvin Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
