The Booker T. Washington Lions will be home for the holidays to greet the Southern Lab Kittens at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Booker T. Washington: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Southern Lab has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
Last Friday, Booker T. Washington came up short against Edna Karr and fell 50-42. While losing is never fun, Booker T. Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Edna Karr is ranked 109th).
Meanwhile, Southern Lab also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to McKinley by a score of 66-53. Southern Lab has struggled against McKinley recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
