East Palestine had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Leetonia Bears 6-0. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kyler Bourne, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last ten games. Another player making a difference was Kealin Simon, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

East Palestine hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.

East Palestine's record now sits at 12-7. As for Leetonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

East Palestine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Heartland Christian on the 8th. As for Leetonia, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-1 defeat against David Anderson on the 12th.
