The Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 57-26 victory over Ragland at home. Jefferson Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Jefferson Christian Academy to victory were Jada Washington and Allison Wormely. Washington scored 19 points, while Wormely scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wormely has scored at least a third of Jefferson Christian Academy's points.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Jefferson Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 12-4. As for Ragland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Altamont at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Altamont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Monday. As for Ragland, they will head out on the road to challenge Ohatchee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
